On my travels to Inveraray. The ferry should have been going from Lochranza to Claonaig, but it was diverted to Tarbert. No biggie. In fact it was that that gave me time to write, as it gave me an extra hour on the ferry.

And of course it would be when I'm away from home that I have TWO fountain pens run out of ink, ha ha.

I did end up just listening to Fool's Fate—which, for some reason, I called Fitz and the Fool in my writing?—and it was a very enjoyable drive. Of course now I'm 'behind' with everything, except that I'm in charge so I can just decide that I'm not behind at all—in fact I'm precisely where I mean to be. Take that and party!

The curry takeaway near Rossco's

I got to Rossco's for half eight, scored a curry and had a good catch-up, followed by the movie Civil War. Then home on Sunday morning on the MV Alfred, where I watched a some semi-final snooker on catch-up, then finished that at home more or less in time for the final with Shaun Murphy and Kyren Wilson. It was a decent final, but I'm glad it's over! Back to a full working week.
