Sorry, Noel Gallagher - I'm not Coming.
Living on an island is not without its challenges. It's a hard week of significant disruptions with the ferry, right at the time of year when people want to travel to be with family, to exchange presents, or to see concerts and shows. I won't get to see my daughter over Christmas, or have a chance to exchange presents with her, and I've just listed my Noel Gallagher concert ticket for sale.
It's at times like this that stoic wisdom really helps.
