My BookTube newbie tag video is still bringing in subscribers like I've never seen before in all my years as a video creator. I'm glad to have this writing practice to help me react to it in a healthy way. The growth started on Saturday and I wrote about it yesterday morning to try to get my head round it. And I wrote about it again today for the same reason.
Yesterday, I made a video about Oblomov, by Ivan Goncharov. As I wrote my pages, I was reminded that I'd originally planned to write an essay last year and never got to it. It was a very enjoyable process and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have got to it were it not for the new channel. In the video, I mentioned the essay I wrote about that book when I was a first-year student at the University of St Andrews and said I would share it with the viewers.
