Is that me at Political Biography age?
Sleepless nights and Maggie Thatcher—what a combo. I like where my Pages took me this morning though, or this afternoon I should say. I'm getting a bit closer to understanding why stepping-up is so important and, perhaps more interestingly, why I feel drawn to learning more about Thatcher and her time as PM. All I knew of politics in the 80s was learned from Spitting Image, a satirical puppet show. Am I just getting to the middle-aged-man stage of reading political biographies rather than learning about the second world war? Perhaps.
