Twenty years of sobriety
Today marks twenty years of sobriety from alcohol and twenty-three years of marriage to my beautiful wife. I spent it visiting the Golden Jubilee National Hospital on the outskirts of Glasgow for an ultrasound scan to check my liver. I think it's ironic that, after twenty years with no alcohol, my liver should be playing up, but just imagine what like it would be had I not put the bevvy down in 2005!
