I didn't post yesterday because I was travelling. I wasn't going to bother, but since I mentioned the new podcast I'm starting at the end of today's pages, I thought I'd include what I wrote on the boat yesterday. I wrote down some thoughts about the podcast idea, so, if you're a super fan of what I do, you might be interested in the thought process.
Assassin's Apprentice
The video for my review of Assassin's Apprentice will go up on my BookTube channel, so subscribe over there if you're interested. It's not your usual kind of fantasy book review—more of a discussion of how the magic system in the book makes me think of recovery, art, philosophy, religion, science and metaphysics. It's a topic I expect to cover more as I continue reading the trilogy, and how it also shows up in other fantasy series—because it really does!
